What is a board?

'Boards' on CAASie refers to the digital screens available for advertising on via the CAASie platform. These spaces are typically designed specifically for advertising, maintained and managed by a publisher.

These boards are categorised into "venue types" which include the following examples & more!

Billboards

usually on the side of the road or mounted on building exteriors.

Urban Panels

usually free-standing street furniture in high pedestrian traffic areas.

Bus Shelters

usually form a stand-alone wall. These may be double or single-sided.

Train Stations/Subway

usually free-standing on platforms, mounted to walls or above stairs and escalators.

Malls/Grocery Stores

usually free-standing, in shop windows or mounted to walls or ceilings.

Convenience Stores

usually small screens mounted on walls or at the counter or within a small store.

Gyms

usually wall or ceiling-mounted.

Doctor's Office/Pharmacy

usually wall-mounted like a TV screen, or wall mounted inside the pharmacy premises.

Gas Stations

usually a small screen near the pump or wall-mounted on/within the main building.

Office Buildings

usually elevator screen or wall-mounted.

Airports

usually free-standing or wall-mounted in arrivals, departures and baggage claim halls.

Bars, Cafes & QSRs

usually small screens mounted on walls or at the counter.

If you are after a specific venue type, you can utilise the filter in the board selection map to show only the venue types that are relevant to your campaign plan.

Most boards will have an image provided either by the publisher or a stock image from CAASie to give you an idea of what the board may look like.

For a more accurate view of outdoor boards, the 'street view' option in the board detail panel will take you to the board's coordinates on Google Maps. Provided the area is correctly mapped, you should be able to see the real board at or near the dropped coordinates.

Some interior boards can also be viewed this way if they are accessible via Google Maps street view.
