# What is a board?

'Boards' on CAASie refers to the digital screens available for advertising on via the CAASie platform. These spaces are typically designed specifically for advertising, maintained and managed by a publisher.

**These boards are categorised into "venue types" which include the following examples & more!**

If you are after a specific venue type, you can utilise the filter in the board selection map to show only the venue types that are relevant to your campaign plan.

Most boards will have an image provided either by the publisher or a stock image from CAASie to give you an idea of what the board may look like.&#x20;

For a more accurate view of outdoor boards, the 'street view' option in the board detail panel will take you to the board's coordinates on Google Maps. Provided the area is correctly mapped, you should be able to see the real board at or near the dropped coordinates.

Some interior boards can also be viewed this way if they are accessible via Google Maps street view.
