# How Bid Caps Work

### Where can I find my campaign bid cap on CAASie?

You can find your bid cap in the 'spend control' tab of your campaign dashboard - underneath your budget settings.

### How can I change my bid cap on CAASie?

You can change your bid cap in the campaign creation stage or in the 'spend control' tab of your campaign manager.

The option appears as a dropdown, where you can then choose between 'auto' and 'max cpp.'

When manually entering a bid cap, there is an option to automatically suggest one for you, which will take the average cost-per-play of your selected boards into account.

If you are unsure, it's recommended to leave it on auto. CAASie is great at math.
