# Spend Control

The Spend Control page is where you go to adjust your campaign's budget and spend limits, even while your campaign is actively running. If a live campaign is modified, changes may take up to 2 hours to take effect and roughly 24 hours for results to accurately reflect the change.

#### **Stats Overview**

You can find the information regarding how your spend schedule is tracking, including the average cost of ad plays in your campaign. This is relevant specifically to the spend rate and budget set by you and updates accordingly.

#### **Entered Budget**

This field is editable and sets the total amount of credit your campaign is permitted to spend. The indicator on the right side will give you a rough idea of how well your campaign is likely to perform with the entered budget, factoring in the number of boards and their average cost per play.&#x20;

A restricted budget is likely to perform poorly, playing less frequently, but a good budget will play regularly across the chosen screens.

#### **Advanced Features**

CAASie will automatically calculate the maximum bid for each play based on the entered budget and the campaign schedule. However, some businesses may want to manually enter these fields. Clicking on the bar will open the option to override the automatic calculations that CAASie makes.

#### **Advanced: Spend Pacing**

Spend pacing refers to the rate at which your campaign will use your available credit. This feature will allow you to override CAASie's automatic calculation to control how much of your budget can be spent hourly or daily. Overriding is not recommended unless necessary.

#### **Advanced: Bid Cap**

Your bid cap is the maximum cost your campaign will spend on a single ad play on any board in your campaign. This is normally automatically calculated by CAASie to give you balanced results with your entered budget. Overriding is not recommended unless necessary.
