# Why can't I upload my artwork?

If you're having trouble uploading artwork to CAASie, there are a few common reasons that may be preventing the upload from completing successfully.

Most often, it's because the artwork doesn;t matc one or more of the specifications for the boards selected in your campaign.

**Where to check:** The specs/requirements listed on the artwork upload panel and/or the upload error message shown during the upload process

### The File Format Is Not Supported

CAASie and media owners only support certain image or video file formats.

**Solution:** Export your artwork in a supported format and try uploading again.

### The File Size Is Too Large

Files that exceed the maximum upload size cannot be processed. CAASie's maximum file size is 7MB, although some media owners may have lower limits for their screens.

**Solution:** Reduce the file size by compressing the video/image, lowering the bitrate, or exporting at a more suitable quality setting.

### The Artwork Dimensions/Resolutions Don't Match

Your artwork may not match the resolution requirements needed for your selected boards.

**Solution:** Resize your artwork to match the required resolutions.

### The Video Duration Is Not Supported

Your video's length doesn't match one of the supported durations for the selected boards.

If a board shows a single supported duration (for example, 10 seconds), your video must be exactly that length. If a duration range is shown (for example, 6–15 seconds), your video can be any length within that range.

**Solution:** Edit your video to a supported duration and upload it again. The upload screen will display the durations that are accepted for your selected boards.

### The File Is Corrupted

Sometimes a file can look fine but contain export or encoding issues that prevent it from being processed correctly.

The upload may fail even though the file appears to meet the format, size, and duration requirements.

**Solution:** Re-export the artwork from the original design or video editing software and upload the new file.

### An Ad Blocker or Privacy Extension Is Interfering

Some browser extensions, ad blockers, privacy tools, or security software can interfere with file uploads and prevent artwork from being uploaded successfully.

Uploads may fail unexpectedly, appear stuck, or not start at all, even though the file appears to meet the upload requirements.

**Solution:** Temporarily disable any ad blockers or privacy extensions and try uploading again. If the upload succeeds, consider adding CAASie to your extension's allowlist.

### Need More Help?

If you're unsure why your artwork won't upload, start by reviewing any error messages shown during the upload process. These will often identify the exact issue. If you're still having trouble, contact the CAASie support team and include the file type, file size, and any error messages you received.
