# Agency vs Advertiser

### What is an agency and an advertiser account?

Accounts on CAASie are completely free and easy to create, giving you the flexibility to manage your own campaigns as you see fit.

In order to best match the different business and marketing structures worldwide, CAASie has two different account types available on sign up.

* **Agencies:** Are used where a business using CAASie is representing multiple clients. These accounts can create 'clients' within their organisation to allow individualised reporting and management.
* **Advertisers:** Are businesses or individuals who represent only themselves on CAASie.

It is important to make sure you select the correct account type. Agencies are required to register appropriately according to CAASie’s [Agency Representation Agreement](https://support.caasie.co/legals/caasie-legals/agency-representation-agreement#caasie-agency-representation-agreement).

If you accidentally sign up for the wrong account type, please let CAASie’s support team know at <support@caasie.co> so your account can be converted to the correct type.

### What is a client on CAASie?

A client is a sub-organisation managed by the main organisation, but designed to act as a separate entity. This allows CAASie to separate campaigns, billing information and reports for each of your clients, branches or businesses.

This helps with loading pre-paid credit, campaign management, and statistics reports independently per client without requiring multiple logins.

An agency organisation can only run campaigns and add credit to a client. When creating a campaign, the campaign wizard will prompt you to choose a client to manage it. Credit can be added while in the campaign or client management page.

**Naming your clients:** The business name on the artwork/creative is the name of your client. If these names do not match, your artwork is unlikely to be accepted on the grounds of potential fraud.\
CAASie is a self-service platform and needs to have measures in place to discourage illegal or disingenuous use.

Clients cannot be deleted from an organisation.
