# How does CAASie work?

### **How are CAASie campaigns set up?**

The steps for creating a campaign on CAASie are fairly straightforward. The platform is self-service, giving you complete control over how you want your campaign to run.

**Campaign creation only requires a few steps:**

1. Boards - Use the map to select the boards you want in your campaign.
2. Schedule - Choose your start and end dates, as well as the time slot you want your ad to play.
3. Budget - Enter the budget you want to spend for the whole campaign period or daily/hourly.
4. Artwork - Upload your creative into your campaign to begin the approval process.&#x20;

It's that easy.

### How does CAASie play ads?

Boards accessible via CAASie are all digital formats, allowing for the scheduled advertisements to populate dynamically. This means ads on these screens will cycle like a slideshow to allow multiple advertisers to use the same space within a similar timeframe.&#x20;

When an opportunity opens for an ad to play on one of the boards in your live campaign, that board will request an ad from CAASie. Provided you have available credit, CAASie will deliver your ad to be played in the available timeslot. CAASie will only charge your account when and if your ad plays, as they play.&#x20;

### When do ads play on CAASie?

CAASie takes your campaign parameters and breaks down your budget to get the most effective number of ad plays within your scheduled time frame. You can let CAASie take control, or you can manually enter your spending limits if you are confident you know what you are doing. (CAASie is really good at it; we recommend the easy route.)

You can change your schedule, budget and even pause a live campaign on CAASie, so you can modify your strategy at any time.<br>
