# Language & Local Law

### What language can I use on CAASie?

Although CAASie uses English as the primary language to communicate, CAASie is available to use globally, including non-English countries and regions.

There are no rules for which languages you can upload to CAASie, however, your copy must be in the language of the target region, so if you are targeting multiple countries or language regions, we recommend creating a new campaign in CAASie for each region.

**Example:**

* Advertising in the province of Quebec, Canada, must be in French.
* Advertising in the UAE must be in Arabic.

These should be two separate campaigns to ensure that French creatives do not get sent to the UAE and vice versa.

### How does CAASie handle advertising laws and legislation?

It is important to understand that while CAASie operates out of Australia, the platform is still required to adhere to local laws and restrictions of the target country or region.

This means that any prohibited topics will remain prohibited; CAASie can not and will not bypass these regulations or laws.

This also includes the necessity for special permissions, licensing, and pre-vetting procedures that are established in the target region.

**Example:** In Australia, you are required to have ABAC certification to advertise alcohol. CAASie will need a copy of this certification with the relevant creative via email to pass along to the publisher. Without it, your creative will be rejected on the platform until you can provide it.
