Credit Expiry and Archive Policy

Last updated: September 24th 2026 Effective: October 1st 2026 12:00am AEST (UTC+10)

This Credit Expiry and Archive Policy (Policy) forms part of the CAASie User Terms & Conditions (Terms) and should be read together with the Terms.

1. Inactive and Abandoned Accounts

(a) Where there has been no activity on an Account for a continuous period of at least 11 months, CAASie will send notice to the email address associated with the Account advising that the Account may be considered abandoned if there is no further activity within the following 30 days.

(b) If there is no activity on the Account during that 30-day period, the Account will be considered abandoned (Abandoned Account) and may be archived by CAASie.

(c) Archiving an Account does not immediately cause purchased Credits associated with the Account to expire.

2. Reactivation of Abandoned Accounts

(a) An Abandoned Account may be reactivated by request within 6 months from the date it became an Abandoned Account.

(b) A User may request reactivation by contacting support@caasie.co. CAASie may require reasonable verification of the User's identity and authority in relation to the Account before reactivation.

(c) Where an Abandoned Account is reactivated within this period, any remaining purchased Credits associated with the Account will be restored and made available for use.

3. Expiry of Credits

(a) Purchased Credits do not expire solely because of their age.

(b) If an Abandoned Account is not reactivated within the 6-month period specified in section 2, the Account may be permanently closed and any remaining purchased Credits associated with the Account will expire.

(c) Once expired, Credits are no longer available for use, reactivation or Refund.

(d) Credit expiry under this policy is separate from eligibility for a Refund. Refunds of unused Credits are governed by the Refund Policy.

4. Complimentary Credits

Complimentary Credits expire when an Account becomes an Abandoned Account, or is otherwise cancelled or terminated, unless CAASie expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

5. Existing Inactive Accounts

(a) Where, on the effective date of this policy, an Account has already had no activity for 12 months or more, CAASie may classify the Account as an Abandoned Account and archive it under this policy.

(b) CAASie will notify the User at the email address associated with the Account that the Account has been classified as abandoned and advise the User of the opportunity to reactivate the Account.

(c) The User may request reactivation within 6 months from the date of that notice.

(d) Where the Account is reactivated within that period, any remaining purchased Credits associated with the Account will be restored and made available for use.

(e) If the Account is not reactivated within that period, the Account may be permanently closed and any remaining purchased Credits associated with the Account will expire.

6. Changes to this Policy

Any changes to this Policy will be made in accordance with the variation and notice provisions of the Terms.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
